FRIEZE 2016: RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY

Rain, rain, go away....unless you're art, cus then it's definitely okay if you stay.

Sculptor Fred Wilson's striking black teardrops, installed on the wall at Frieze, perfectly reflect my mood on this disgustingly rainy day in New York City. Unlike my terrible mood, however, Wilson's installation is actually incredibly beautiful -- the teardrops slink down the wall, the bulbous shape of the blown glass glistening in the fluorescent light of the Frieze tent.

Now a signature motif in Wilson's instlalations,
